OSHA 30 Hour Training
Course - Construction Version
The OSHA 30 hour training course for construction standards is
designed to help foremen, supervisors, superintendents, competent persons,
safety staff, safety committee members, and others with responsibility for
workplace safety get up to speed on the basic OSHA health and safety
regulations affecting construction workplaces. The OSHA 30 hour construction
training course also provides students with an overview of how the Occupational
Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) functions. There are no prerequisites
required to take the OSHA 30-hour construction course. The OSHA 30 hour
construction training course is available in two formats; employer sponsored
on-site classes, and online.
The OSHA 30 hour training course for construction is based on
the federal OSHA 1926 construction regulations, and each student at one of our
on-site employer-sponsored classes will receive their own copy of the OSHA 1926
construction standards as part of their course materials. We also address
state-specific OSHA requirements for trainees, where applicable. This OSHA
30 training course is intended for operations such as demolition jobs, new
construction projects, and major renovation work.
The OSHA 30 hour training course in construction standards was
created by OSHA, who also authorizes OSHA Outreach trainers to conduct this
30-hour construction training class for a group of trainees. The OSHA
30-training courses for construction is presented in a classroom setting
(usually spread over four consecutive days), or individual trainees can take
our online OSHA 30
hour construction training course at any time (yes, you can
start your class right away!).
When a student successfully completes the OSHA 30 hour
construction training course (on site or online), they will receive the
official USDOL / OSHA 30 hour construction course wallet card, as well as a
personalized certificate of training. The cards are accepted in all 50 states
and the US territories.
